Come - Connect - Contribute
My journey continues at Sanctuary...we are working towards a mission to try to allow people to Come...Connect...and Contribute. That's kind of our mission statement I guess...So I have been thinking about that...what does it mean to invite people to 'come'
Come...to worship God...come to share communion...come to allow God to work in your life...How does one do that well in the context of where we are? That is what we are working on...then the Connect...connecting with each other...how do we create that atmosphere? We are creating some socials that might gather the community, food is always a good option...connecting..we are all in need of connecting with someone, that sense of belonging...that sense of someone cares about you. Connecting...so important to be more than just a number. Then the last part of our mission...contribute...contributing to the bigger picture that God is calling us to. Contributing back...to the church, community and each other.
So that is what I am praying about and thinking about this week as we continue to work at Sanctuary building up God's church.
I am excited to head into December so many things to look forward to...the Christmas parties, a bit of shopping and just being with family. I pray that many can start preparing for Christmas in a healthy happy way...enjoying family and friends and also preparing our hearts for the coming King...I pray we can find a way to "Come'...before God and 'Connect' with each other in a deeper level and find a way to 'Contribute' to make the world a better place...
