Merry Christmas!

2013
has been a year of change.
Our first full year with our beautiful daughter,
Hana Hope.

A year of fun new things to explore.
A year of success and failure.
A year of laughter and joy.
A year of tears and sorrow.

Through out it all,
God is the constant Good in our life.
He provides and cares.
He has shown us a deeper level of what
life could be all about.
This year was about visiting family and friends near by and far away.
Spending time in the mountains,
at the lake and in our backyard sitting by the fire!
It was about Mike continuing to provide for us
& being very busy with his business.
It was about starting a new adventure
Burden Bearers Counselling Centre,
A place where people could come and find
healing through Jesus Christ.

It was about going to the park,  going swimming, fishing,  playing lego, taking walks, watching veggie tales and reading many books to our precious little girl.

It was about making new friends and reconnecting with old friends.   It was about starting new courses and trying new things.
It was about exploring the world through the eyes of a two year old.
It was about a different way of life.

It was about a season of
stepping back and seeing where God is calling us next.

And what is coming up next is that we are heading to Saskatchewan.
We will be in Norquay SK by April 2014 as I have accepted a call to serve at the  Norquay Covenant Church, as their Associate Pastor working with Students and Families.
A call that seems to fit us perfectly as a family and
something I am passionate and crazy about.
Mike will be taking his business, Mykasha Designs with him - so we will be good to go.
And Hana, well as long as we are together and
she has her Blankie and Eeyore, it’s all good.

It will be very hard and sad to say good bye to our community and friends of almost twelve years and we pray we will stay connected and friends throughout the years.
This community is very dear to our hearts, we have journeyed  together through many things, good and bad,  and we will forever be grateful for the love and friendships that we have here. This is a good place and amazing people and saying good bye will not be easy.

But we  know God is calling us into a new chapter in our life.
A new season of ministry and a new life in a small community.

So off to Saskatchewan we head,
hoping to take in some Roughrider games, is what we have planned.
Looks like 2014 will be yet another year of change.
but it seems like we are adapting to change just fine,
Because we know God is Good All the time!

May you find peace and Joy this Holiday Season
From Our Family to Yours
