First of 3 Celebrations for Hana

Last night we had our first

We have 2 more to look forward to.

Both are family celebrations!

It was an emotional night

A night that I have been waiting for many years

16 years to be exact

I had many tears...

So many came out to celebrate Hana

It is so good to be a part

of a community that cares

A community that is there for you

when you have terrible bad news...

they bring food, cry with you, help you, pray

and when you have exciting news

they bring food, cry with you, help you and pray...

No matter what happens and how...people care in a big way.

It's real

It's overwhelming

It's a God thing...

There is nothing like the feeling of belonging

and last night - there was a strong sense of that

we belong to a community that cares.

Its a good feeling.

We had a wonderful evening

An amazing devotion

to remind me what a gift Hana is

and what a promise she is from God

we had fun opening up gifts

great food was prepared by friends

and wonderful company all night

laughing - sharing - crying

Everyone came out to celebrate

It was magical

It was perfect

It was a dream come true

It was a good night
