we must go on

What...It's September already!
Leaves are on the ground...
and Pumpkin Spice lattes are back!
I love fall...it's my favorite time of year...
I could live in fall...you know what I mean...
September has just flown by...I can see that for many
back to school...work...harvest...
so much is going on out here in the country!
We have had 2 additional family celebrations and showers in September!
I can honestly say that I have enough clothing for Hana for at least a year
It's such a blessing
and so overwhelming
She is so loved
The last celebration was in BC
It was lovely...yet
I must say it was a hard one
More so because my dad was not a part of it
As much as one needs to go on and live
it's pretty hard - not gonna lie -
it feels empty without him

But ... we must go on...

That is something I have been really praying about and thinking...

we must go on

we can't stay stuck

we need to continue to change

we need to grow

we must go on

That can be seen within  every aspect of our lives...
It can be harmful if we do not go on...harmful to ourselves and to others...
I think we were made to go on...made to go through the things in life
with God...so that we can be changed and transformed for Him.
Fear can set in and we can find ourselves 'stuck' and then we can't grow...
God is in it with us ... to help us change and grow...

I am not even talking about things that happen to us

circumstances

but I also mean...

emotionally
spiritually
physically

we must go on

maybe we are hanging on to a thought, idea or feeling that isn't right or needs to change
maybe we need to start reading a new devotional book or a different version of the Bible
maybe we need to start a different exercises program or eating differently to help us  feel better
maybe we need find a new job
mabye a new house
maybe...
the list is endless...

we must go on...

if we feel stuck...we need to figure out what it is...

and go on...

It doesn't mean it wont hurt
or that it wont be hard
It actually will  probably be really sucky and painful

BUT...
It just means we need lean on God more than we are
God will sustain us ... He always does
We just need to trust in Him

So if you are finding yourself in the 'hard' of life...

you must go on...find God where you are at...He is there already
and push through...
God will be with you all the way

Isaiah 43:18-19
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.”
Don’t be afraid to keep moving on,
For what was before, now has gone,
God wants to accomplish so much more,
But we need to move forward in the Lord.
