Good Days Will Come
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
It's been a while...since I have blogged...it's been a while...since I have felt...like doing anything...
As many of us out there...we have good days...we have bad days...and sometimes the bad days, take a bit longer to get over...sometimes months to get over...this cloud can set in...that can be scary...
It may be you have had bad news, you are sick, you are tired, you are lonely, your family is sick, you don't have a job, you have lost friends, you have been hurt, you have suffered loss after loss...bad days...bad months...bad years...I don't need to write out why I am having a tough go lately...the situation isn't important, as in reality ~ many have their own situations they are trying to deal with...
but what is important...is that even in the bad...days...we can see God.
As believers...we are constantly attacked with lies...and our enemy would like nothing more
than for us to stay in our very cloudy existence...
Here is something another Pastor shares...Steven Furtic...
I was scared I wasn't seeing God...I have been believing lies...for quite a while now...It's paralized me...
But I am seeing a bit more clearer now...seeing Him maybe for the first time in a new way...in a way that is very raw...very hard...God loves me...He loves you...even in the 'bad' days...He is there...and how do I know this...
because He will send a friend to you just in the right time...to get you through the day
He will provide a means ...
A call will come
A job will come
A sense of peace will come
The test result will come
A friend will come
A decision will come
Good days will come
All things ...will come...even if it's not exactly what you planned...God planned it...The thing about bad days...Good days will come eventually...trusting that God is in control of our days, of the outcomes of our life...That's what needs to happen...
He is there in our disappointments in life...carrying us through it...but sometimes we need help...friends, doctors, counsellors...it's OK...I do believe God provides those things too...We can't do it alone...
Praying for good days to come...praying for the energetic, fun loving, positive, encouraging personality to come back...praying for the sunshine to take this cloud away...
Living into the truth of 'God is good...all the Time'

The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.
